Jordan,

I really like the one of St. Marks, that looks so cool and I'm really into your shots of Venice as well. Are you getting any portraits of the people that live there? It might be a cool idea to see if anyone is not camera shy and get a little closer.

Dear Jordy,
those photos of Pompeii sure bring back memories...hot/ ashy looking streets. I really was impacted by the fact that this was all under ash for quite a number of years until they started digging the city out. (I really do not remember how many years, all I could think about is: could I run fast enough to get away from an explosive volcano...I was just 3 years younger than you are now at the time I thunked this thought..what idealism, eh?)
Venice,a city on water, now that is a dream! There are SO many paintings of this city in the world's archives! I am so glad that you plunged into it! Thanks for the Obama update. I still can see the face of that Asian woman in St. Peter's when she heard that he was in the basilica...almost to point of swooning...ENJOY Swiss-land!!. Have some good beer and cheese for me!! LOVE YOU,silverstreak

don't forget the Swiss chocolate!!!

The towers in bologna are truly awesome, great picture!
